CNH reached a new milestone with its New Holland and Case IH brands as it completed the production of 700,000 tractors at its manufacturing site in Greater Noida. This plant produces more than 2000 tractor variants with a range from 35 to 120 HP across the two brands. The landmark event to celebrate the milestone was attended by Gerrit Marx, the new CEO of CNH, and highlighted the CNH's commitment to the market.
The company plant started operations in 1999 and produces 60,000 tractors annually. The Greater Noida plant manufactures tractors, engines, Power Take Offs (PTOs), and axles for the domestic market. The unit also exports its products to 75 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and North America.
“This accomplishment underscores our dedication to 'Made in India' and advancing agricultural development in the country,” commented Narinder Mittal, Country Manager & Managing Director, CNH India & SAARC. India holds a significant position on the international stage, offering immense opportunities and scale. Our focus on technology and innovation will continue to drive our success here.”
The Greater Noida plant is spread over 60 acres with some 1200 employees and is one of the most advanced tractor manufacturing sites in the country.
CNH India operates in India through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE construction equipment brands with a focus on delivering world-class products. The company launched CNH Capital in 2018 to offer financing solutions across its portfolio.
